What does ChargeOnTime do?

ChargeOnTime lets you schedule Tesla charging around your departure time. Set when you need to leave and your target battery level, and the app creates a charging schedule so your car is ready on time.

Which vehicles are supported?

ChargeOnTime works with Tesla vehicles running firmware 2024.26 or later that support the Tesla Fleet API.

Does the app control my car directly?

ChargeOnTime creates schedules using Tesla's official Fleet API. The schedules run on your vehicle, so charging works reliably even if your phone is off or the app is closed.

Why does my car need to be awake?

Tesla vehicles go to sleep to conserve battery. ChargeOnTime will automatically attempt to wake your car when fetching its status. This may take a few seconds.

What happens when Trip Mode ends?

After your departure time passes, ChargeOnTime notifies you and can revert your charging settings back to your daily defaults.

Is my Tesla account data secure?

Yes. ChargeOnTime uses Tesla's official OAuth authentication. Your credentials are never stored by the app. Access tokens are kept in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain).

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel.
