Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

PawsCamera ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

Information We Do Not Collect

PawsCamera does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:

Camera Access

PawsCamera requires access to your device's camera to function. The camera is used solely to capture video and perform real-time subject tracking on your device. Video is saved directly to your Camera Roll and is never uploaded or transmitted.

On-Device Processing

All subject detection, tracking, and zoom calculations are performed entirely on your device using Apple's CoreML framework. No video frames, images, or derived data are sent off-device.

Microphone Access

PawsCamera requests microphone access to record audio alongside video. Audio is captured only when you are actively recording and is saved to your Camera Roll as part of the video file.

Photo Library Access

PawsCamera saves recorded videos to your Camera Roll. This requires write access to your photo library. The app does not read or access any existing photos or videos in your library.

Data Retention

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Videos saved to your Camera Roll remain under your full control and can be deleted at any time through the Photos app.

Children's Privacy

PawsCamera does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Given that no data is collected, changes are unlikely.
